Psalm 40:3 He has put a new song in my mouth. Praise to our God; Many will see it and fear, and will trust in the Lord

I started playing music at the age of 7, and I had found that my guitar was often my best friend. I came from a broken family and had no father to speak of but that never seemed to bother me much because I never knew what it was really like to have one. My music was the gift that kept my mind and soul busy. After serving in the Army at Fort Ord California I was entered into a talent show and won seemingly by accident. From then on I made a living playing music for a long while playing at road houses, night clubs, and bars.

In the middle of 2007 my friend at the time, Bill Grimes (who is now my pastor) asked me to play music at his church. He had started a home mission, and was in need of some musicians. Pastor Grimes and I had been friends for several years, and on many occasions had asked me to come to his church but I was always preoccupied with life, and work. I felt obligated to try and help, and it didn't take long before I started playing again, but this time things were much different.

The magnificent presence, and power of our lord Jesus Christ flooded that little home mission every single time we came together. It didn't take long before I realized the true power of God's mercy, and his grace upon us. I had always felt him with me, but never like this before. I was called, and I accepted that call, and on November 4th 2007 I was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, not long after that the spirit of our lord had found a new home deep with in my heart.

It was on that day, the 27th of April 2007, that it was put into my soul to use my musical ability to look for, and find souls for our lord Jesus Christ.

And so it began… a new page in my life was turned, and almost every single aspect of my life changed from old, to new. I love to play at my church with the band, but my ability far exceeded what I was able to do at church. I needed an avenue that would let me stretch out and reach more people than I could inside the church… I needed to go get them, and so the idea of composing a music album and creating a music outreach was born, and the response, and feedback, and the help, has been overwhelming.

My hope is that this album, and this music outreach will be an inspiration to many, and that its message will bring many to the gospel of Jesus Christ. But even if it wins one… I will consider it a great success.

So many people go to their grave with their music still playing with in them. Never taking the time to consider what God's plan was for them while they were here. Never accomplishing the goal that was put before them, and some… will have never even seen it. Please… don't let this happen to you or your family. Take up your Bible and turn to Acts 2:38. Don't build your house on the sand... build it on the rock.
